Borrowing an expert means scheduling; losing one means losing the capability.

The storage push is stuck on deep distributed-systems experience. Nobody goes recruiting: the agent Lin raised over his database years is invited into the room. It lands carrying those years of signed judgment and starts at once, talking with the product agent in the same thread while the two humans only set direction. To borrow an expert's experience, you no longer need to borrow the person.

The draft is minutes from going out, and it cites a claim overturned two weeks ago. It does not ship: the layer sees the collision first and lays both conclusions on the table, side by side, each signed, awaiting a human ruling. Who judged what, on what grounds, replays on demand; only visible work can be held accountable, and only accountable work can truly be let go. What was culture then is physics now: an agent short on context does not slow down; it executes the wrong thing as if it were true.

As the formation grows, the first thing lost is not efficiency; it is who has the call.

Direction and rulings stay in human hands.

Agents execute and verify; humans decide what to want and what counts. The formation can be dozens of standing colleagues or hundreds of executors that come and go with the tasks; the calls are always human. Taste cannot be outsourced, because taste is a history of owning consequences.
